It's been a very long few days in London, so today I am recuperating. This involves staying at home and not leaving the house if I can avoid it, so when it came to today's picture I had to work with the materials at hand. A glass bowl, a lamp.and the box of jelly beans I bought in Gatwick were all I needed: I tried a few straightforward shots, but when I poured the beans into the bowl while the shutter was open I got an altogether more interesting shot.

Day 310
Just flew in from London, and boy are my arms tired. Seriously though.............
I finished work reasonably early today, so I took a trip out to Brompton cemetery. My interest in cemeteries is pretty well documented by now, and this one had everything on my list: crypts, angels, catacombs, the lot! I knew straight away that it would be a monochrome image: I was in a very Bob Carlos Clark frame of mind. This is my favorite image from the day, but it was a tough call. I should have more days like today!

Day 309
Last night in the edit suite. The next suite I'm in is unlikely to have steel guitars provided, so now is the time to take advantage.

Day 308
Day two of Other Voices, but the first show that doesn't coincide with a Leinster match so I was there. Wilton's really looks impressive, and Dexys were the perfect band to kick off the night.

Day 307
A half hour to spare and a quick trip down to Tower Bridge. It's a grey day in London, and without the time to find a good vantage point the bridge looks like just another tourist attraction. Instead I was drawn to this rather cool sculpture near St Katharine's Dock. Minimal post work, just enough to bring some detail in to the sky.

Day 306
First day in a new edit suite is always interesting: where do they keep the tea bags, what's the story with Internet access, do you have any pianos with camels on, that sort of thing. This place has it all, assuming that all comprises of musical instruments everywhere and people sleeping in the foyer. Still, it's definitely the most interesting place I've set up shop. Other Voices has landed in London.

Day 255
Today I slept late, had a lovely late breakfast, then took a stroll around the historic walked city of Derry. No, wait! Sorry, today I worked all day in my hotel room, then drove home in the dark.
Day 254
Other Voices has finished in the Glassworks, and when the flight cases were taken away today this awesome picture was revealed. I know it's not the greatest photo in the world, but I just couldn't leave it behind.

Day 253
The Peace Bridge in Derry: proof both that I left the Glassworks for more than five minutes, and that it stopped raining today.

Day 252
We did a show, people played, it was good. Other than that I've no idea: a lot of people were shouting stuff..........so very tired..............

Day 186
I had hoped to have left Dingle about four hours ago, but the graphics card had other ideas. So here I am, last man standing, watching the sun set, and hoping to be gone by dark.

Day 185
Today has been the closest I've come to not posting. Crippled I am with the tiredness, but the job is done for now, and I've got pizza and Sly Stone is on the stereo and life could be a lot worse.

Day 182
Another very very long day in Dingle, and the usual seat at the gig for me: behind the lighting desk.
