I took a lot of photos today, but really the most appropriate one for this post is sundown over Capo Caccia on the last night of my thirties.

A stroll around Alghero's old town after lunch, and the opportunity to see the 17th century cathedral.

A trip into town for lunch today, and some rather good street art on the way.

A day spent relaxing by the pool and reading my book and generally becoming au fait with the layout of the hotel.

Arrived in Sardinia today for first proper time off since January. I've been a bit worried over how this blog would work whilst here, but camera phone seems the way forward. This is the view from our hotel: it's sunset over Capo Caccia.
