Day 360

I'm very happy with this shot: I knew as soon as I took it that I liked it, and that it would make a good blog pic. And that's just as well, because the shot I took half an hour later was much better, but when I got home I realised it had been ruined by three drops of rain on the lens. So, ferns it is, and a valuable lesson about lens cleaning

Day 241

A cloudy day today in Chamonix, so the resort of choice was down at the bottom of the valley amongst the trees. The forest always looks magical coated in snow like it was today.

Day 234

I went in search of the lovely photogenic snow, but I couldn't find any. But, in the course of my wandering I ended up in Knocksink Wood, and found this wooden walkway to nowhere.
