Any day that has more sunshine than rain should be considered a springtime victory. About time too seeing as it's nearly June.

Life is hard and work is hard but daffodils are nice so it all works out in the end

Flushed with the success of yesterday I brought my 7D with the macro lens to work again, and it paid off. Distracted by a flash of colour out of the corner of my eye I ended up beside these primroses, growing out of a concrete block with absolutely no regard for the miserable weather we've had until recently.

Day 266

It's snowing. Not only that, but it is snowing incredibly heavily, and the world has turned white. I'd worry for the flowers that thought spring had arrived.

Day 224

It's been a lacklustre week: it's never a good sign when your day's highlight is feeling slightly less awful than yesterday. However, today is hopefully going to be a much better day. Feeling reasonably good, and it's my wonderful wife's birthday.
