Day 356

Last day in Dun Laoghaire for a while, so last chance to take pictures of rusty iron fixed to walls. It's all about the texture.

Day 169

A dark, cold, wet day, and a day that I'm not planning on leaving the house. I had an idea for a image in mind, but as often happens it didn't quite work, but then I saw one I preferred. It will now be clear that I like texture. Also, on closer inspection, that's a pretty shitty pointing job!

Day 25

Walking home along the canal this evening and I stopped to take a few shots, and then unexpectedly found this image. It was at once totally incongruous and totally in keeping with its location. In honour of the upcoming Stone Roses gigs I am naming this image "Garage Flower"

Day 19

It is really really wet again today, and as a result the light is flat, and the day is dull and moodless. Cycling home through the deluge I took the opportunity to investigate what lies beyond the tramway arch in Ranelagh. I had always thought it lead to a private garden, but in fact it's a public park, complete with fallen trees and discarded nappies. I chose to concentrate on the trees.

Day 15

Today I went in search of texture in the rock face behind my apartment, but found colour as well, and elected to go with that instead. There's rich pickings in that rock, so I suspect I'll be back.
