Day 25

Walking home along the canal this evening and I stopped to take a few shots, and then unexpectedly found this image. It was at once totally incongruous and totally in keeping with its location. In honour of the upcoming Stone Roses gigs I am naming this image "Garage Flower"

Day 23

After my unsuccessful trip to the Dodder last week I was inclined to try it again. This time I found a better vantage point, although it was a bit of a clamber down the bank to reach it. I still think there's a better shot to be had, but this was a huge improvement on my previous effort.

Day 19

It is really really wet again today, and as a result the light is flat, and the day is dull and moodless. Cycling home through the deluge I took the opportunity to investigate what lies beyond the tramway arch in Ranelagh. I had always thought it lead to a private garden, but in fact it's a public park, complete with fallen trees and discarded nappies. I chose to concentrate on the trees.

Day 8

A walk on the abandoned building site behind my apartment revealed this weed bravely pushing it's way through a puddle of broken glass.

Day 4

There really is only one possible pic today: the Olympic Flame on it's way through Dublin.

Day 3

Miserable day in Dublin, but I did find these neglected railings on Oakley Road which I quite liked.

Day 2

A beautiful day in Dublin today, and a lovely cycle home along the Grand Canal.
