Day 50

Back to Dingle today, and as I drove through the midlands the weather looked increasingly foreboding. I stopped to take this around Roscrea, and just as well, as visibility was zerop by the time I finished my journey.

Day 47

I know that you should really use Instagram if you're going to starting posting pictures of your food, but I think that this happy tableau of halloumi warrants a posting here. They don't mind the heat, they're just happy to be here.

Day 21

Oh what a day, and it's only mid afternoon. Starting with the four hours sleep, rolling quickly into leaving my wife to the airport for the start of her month long trip away, it peaked with a drubbing for the Irish rugby team at the hands of New Zealand. A day in need of whimsy if ever there was one, and I was inspired when I saw this fellow on the shelf. He was a gift from two friends of mine, Aoife and Annie, a few years back, and to this day I'm unsure what about him made them think of me.........

(as a bonus feelgood factor, I actually planted that grass a few weeks back in an attempt to reclaim the wasteland beside my apartment. So far it's looking promising!)

Day 2

A beautiful day in Dublin today, and a lovely cycle home along the Grand Canal.

Day 1

After all the rain in the last twenty four hours the underground carpark is pretty much underwater, much to the delight of this puddle.
