Day 364
Just over a year ago I dug and planted the grim and mouldy piece of wasteland beside our apartment building. Now it's grown and matured, and it's a wilderness for the adventurous stormtrooper. I must admit to a feeling of pride each time I pass it.

Day 100
There's a long list of reasons for today to be consigned to the dustbin of history: weather, work, traffic, weather again. Sometimes you just have to envy a cat; especially one whose only stress is some eejit trying to take her photograph

Day 21
Oh what a day, and it's only mid afternoon. Starting with the four hours sleep, rolling quickly into leaving my wife to the airport for the start of her month long trip away, it peaked with a drubbing for the Irish rugby team at the hands of New Zealand. A day in need of whimsy if ever there was one, and I was inspired when I saw this fellow on the shelf. He was a gift from two friends of mine, Aoife and Annie, a few years back, and to this day I'm unsure what about him made them think of me.........
(as a bonus feelgood factor, I actually planted that grass a few weeks back in an attempt to reclaim the wasteland beside my apartment. So far it's looking promising!)
