Day 302

Twenty four hours working followed by three hours sleep, and the only thought I had of finding a photograph involved taking a picture of something in the car and claiming it was inspired by exhaustion. Luckily I managed to shake off this funk, and left the motorway in the midlands in search of an image, with brooding and silhouetted results.

Day 243

Penultimate day in Chamonix, and a shining example of how your worst day on the snow is still better than your best day at work. Equipment failure and clouds conspired against us, but it's still better than work!

Day 205

Sunny but wet today, and a lot of the countryside looked grim as a result. A couple of shots that I wasn't too happy with, then on the way home the evening sun was shining through the trees, and the Christmas Eve photo was decided.

Day 129

I found my autumn! The sun was (in and) out this evening, and the leaves were yellow and red and golden. I first found autumn on Raglan Road (where else), but this picture was taken just near Herbert Park. Fifteen minutes later the sun was gone and normal grey was resumed.

Day 102

Working in a new office since Monday, and when the sun shines through the trees and window to illuminate the wall it makes the most amazing shapes and textures. Today, abstract is where it's at!

Day 82

A bit off the beaten track today, and I found this avenue lined by trees. It's totally incongruous with the rest of the landscape, and apparently protected by a bull, but worth the risk. Like an overgrown avenue in France.
